Artist's Description

The Tarpon is one beautiful beast of a fish. Its mouth is referred to as 'The Bucket' because it is so huge. Once you hook one you will never forget the thrill as you feel a freight train rip the line from your reel. The original painting has raised edges on the black lines giving it a slight 3-D effect. The background is full of vibrant yellow and orange hues. This painting electrifies a room.

When I was 22 years old, I made the life-changing decision to trade in my coat-and-tie corporate job to become a boat captain in Key West, Florida. In the seven adventurous years I spent there, I realized my true calling was to create and teach. Now that my kids are older I am finding more time to get in my studio and paint....
